A visit from a loved one can be instrumental in the healing process. That’s why we welcome all visitors, and we hope you will find this information helpful. Whether you’re looking for food in our cafeteria, purchasing a present from our gift shop or worshiping in our chapel, you’re in the right place for answers.

Visiting Hours:

We encourage all visitors to be mindful of limiting duration, number of visits, volume of conversation / interaction and number of people in the patient’s room.

For safety, positive/suspected positive COVID-19 patients will NOT have visitors. No children under the age of 16.

Hospital Inpatients

  • One visitor per patient will be allowed to visit inpatients who are not identified as COVID-19 positive or Persons Under Investigation.
  • Visiting hours will be 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. No new visitors may enter after 7:00 p.m.
  • Visitors staying overnight with the patient MUST have been screened and allowed into the facility by 7:00 p.m.

Hospital Outpatients

  • One visitor allowed for outpatient surgery.

Women’s Services

Inpatient Antepartum & Postpartum Patients:

  • One visitor at a time will be allowed to visit inpatients who are not identified as COVID-19 positive or Persons Under Investigation.
  • Visiting hours will be 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. No new visitors may enter after 7:00 p.m.
  • Visitors staying overnight with the patient MUST have been screened and allowed into the facility by 7:00 p.m.

Labor & Delivery

  • One visitor only for labor and delivery. Visiting hours 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Neonatal ICU (NICU)

  • Two parents or guardians only. Check with nurse manager for visiting hours.

Emergency Department

  • One visitor per patient will be allowed unless patient is identified as COVID-19 positive or suspected COVID-19 positive.
  • Visitors will be screened according to guidelines.
  • Visitors will remain “roomed in” with patient at all times.
  • If patient is admitted, visitor will be able to accompany patient to their inpatient room regardless of the time of day.
  • If patients must wait in the lobby, the visitor must wait outside the building until the patient is moved into a room.

Dining

Located on the first floor of the main hospital building, the cafeteria is open

  • Monday - Friday from 7 a.m. - 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
  • Saturday and Sunday, 7 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Gift Shop

The Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Flower Mound gift shop is located in the lobby and is open Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Chapel

The chapel at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Flower Mound welcomes people of all faith and is located on the first floor of the hospital.
