The Center for Pelvic Health and Reconstructive Surgery is an interdisciplinary diagnostic and treatment center which focuses on the management of urological, gynecologic and colorectal conditions affecting pelvic function. The center provides state-of-the-art diagnostic modalities and treatments for conditions such as urinary and fecal incontinence, urinary obstruction and retention, obstructive defecation, vaginal prolapse, bladder prolapse, uterine prolapse, rectal prolapse, pelvic pain, urinary frequency, urinary urgency, bladder pain. Available treatments range from in-office procedures to complex surgical reconstructions. Advanced surgical techniques including endoscopy and robotic-assisted laparoscopy are used to restore anatomy and pelvic support. In addition, pelvic floor rehabilitation offered by specially trained pelvic floor therapists can optimize and restore pelvic function as well as alleviate painful pelvic floor conditions.
Dr. Marie-Blanche Tchetgen is Board Certified in Urology and Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. She completed her fellowship training in Female Urology at the Cleveland Clinic and her Urology training at the University of Michigan. She attended Medical School at The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Dr. Tchetgen is a urologist with Urology Clinics of North Texas and the Medical Director of The Center for Pelvic Health and Reconstructive Surgery at Texas Health Hospital in Flower Mound, TX.
