Board-Certified Sleep Medicine Doctors
At Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Flower Mound, our providers are board-certified in sleep medicine. They are experienced and highly skilled sleep professionals, providing you with the best possible support and guidance.
If you suffer from a sleep disorder, our providers may recommend a sleep study to evaluate the quality of your sleep. We have the highest number of registered polysomnographers per bed in the Dallas Fort Worth area. These polysomnographic technicians help perform overnight or daytime sleep studies.
All of our sleep studies are reviewed by a board-certified sleep medicine physician to determine if treatment is required. Our team of professionals will work with you to help you feel comfortable during your evaluation so that you can walk away feeling empowered with suggestions and solutions.
Exceptional Equipment to Aid in Your Sleep
If you are recommended for a sleep study or sleep equipment, our machines are designed with you in mind. We knew that our patients would use this equipment every day, so we provide some of the best technology on the market.
Our compact CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) machines are extremely quiet and make it easier for you to breathe. Each machine also provides a report of how often it is being used, so we can assess how it is working with your needs. After we initially set you up with a machine, we will exchange your mask at no additional charge until you are completely satisfied. We want you to feel comfortable with your mask. Other labs charge up to $200 per mask.
You can be fitted, trained and set up with your equipment within two business days after we receive proper documentation. Our equipment is a valuable part of our sleep lab, and it can mean less waiting for a better night’s rest.
Helping You Get the Most of Your Machine
Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Flower Mound is dedicated to equipment hygiene and proper use. Many patients fail to replace their mask, filer and hose at the recommended time unless they are reminded.
The medical equipment suppliers we work with will call you monthly to evaluate your sleep and your equipment. This improves patient compliance and hygiene. Statistics show that 50 percent of CPAP users are non-compliant if they are not properly educated and frequently contacted. We want you to get a better night’s sleep, and making sure your equipment is working properly is a key part in that goal.
We are proud of our high compliance, as it is a key indicator that we are helping our patients get the rest they deserve.
Of course, you are free to use the supplier of your choosing and may choose not to be contacted.
