Women’s Imaging Center
At Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Flower Mound, TX, comprehensive imaging services are provided to patients for screening and treating of breast cancer and breast related issues. These services include mammograms, women’s imaging, and bone density analysis.

At the Women’s Imaging Center, our women’s specific imaging team take a patient-centered approach and deliver quality and efficient services. Board certified staff radiologists, Dr. Bryan Maupin and Dr. Tim Georgelas, prefer to perform the ultrasounds personally to ensure a high level of attention and accuracy for each patient.
The women’s imaging center houses advanced diagnostic imaging including the computer-aided detection system (CAD) used to interpret mammographic images and check for the presence of breast cancer. The system puts a mammogram into digital form and then computer software searches for abnormal areas of density, mass or calcification.
The team at the Women’s Imaging Center are also qualified to monitor and treat individuals who are at a higher risk of developing breast cancer to ensure any signs of the disease are spotted early on.
Each patient has the option of undergoing a comprehensive physical while completing a family history assessment. This helps determine any risk factors that require close, annual monitoring. Individualized plans are created for each patient in order to evaluate their breast health over time. If breast cancer is detected, help is provided to the individual to make informed decisions about possible treatment options.
